About Convert4Me

Convert4Me is a free collection of online tools: text and case converters, calculators, unit and image converters, a QR code generator, a book formatter and more. It is built and maintained by an independent software company in Canada, and you can reach us at support@akaalsoftwares.com.

How it works

Every tool runs inside your own browser. The text, numbers and images you use are never uploaded to a server, saved or shared, which keeps your work private and makes the tools fast, even on a slow connection.

Is Convert4Me safe and legitimate?

Yes. Convert4Me is an ordinary website at convert4me.com. Here is exactly what it does and does not do:

It is not a program. There is nothing to download or install to use the tools.
It never changes your browser, your homepage, your search engine or your new tab page.
It does not ask you to sign up, log in or pay, and it never asks for a card number.
It does not upload your files or text. The tools work on your own device.
It only counts visits with Google Analytics, and remembers what you typed in a calculator, if you say yes in the cookie banner. You can say no and everything still works.
It has no pop-ups, and it does not sell your data. Any advertising will be clearly marked and never block a tool.

Please note that Convert4Me is not related to programs with similar names, such as “Easy 2 Convert 4 Me”, a browser add-on that security companies classify as unwanted software. We have nothing to do with it. If something on your computer keeps changing your search engine or showing ads, it is not coming from this website. Our full details are in the Privacy Policy.

For developers

Every tool is also available as a free API: one GET request, a JSON answer, no sign-up and no key. See the API page for the endpoints, example requests and responses, and a form to try each one with your own data. Unlike the website itself, the API receives the text you send, so see the Privacy Policy before using it.
