When to use PascalCase

PascalCase is the standard style for class names in C#, Java and TypeScript, and for React component names. Because the first letter is also a capital, it is easy to tell a class from a variable written in camelCase.

Other naming styles

  • camelCase: myVariableName
  • snake_case: my_variable_name
  • kebab-case: my-variable-name
  • CONSTANT_CASE: MY_VARIABLE_NAME

How to use the PascalCase tool

  1. Paste one name or phrase per line into the box.
  2. Click PascalCase (or another naming style).
  3. Click the copy icon above the text and paste the result into your code.
