Converting snake_case to camelCase
snake_case separates words with underscores (user_first_name); camelCase removes the separators and capitalizes every word after the first (userFirstName). This page converts a list of names at once, one per line, and also accepts kebab-case names, plain phrases and names that are already in camelCase.
camelCase or PascalCase?
Use camelCase for variables, functions, object properties and JSON fields in JavaScript, Java and many other languages. Use PascalCase, where the first letter is also a capital, for class, type and component names, for example UserProfile. Both buttons are available, so you can convert the same list twice.
Good to know
Numbers stay with the word they follow, so address_line_2 becomes addressLine2. Leading and trailing underscores are dropped. Names are converted as text, not parsed as code, so reserved words and clashes between two names that become identical are not checked. Compare the result with your own naming rules before you use it.

Frequently asked questions
How does snake_case become camelCase?
The words are split at underscores, hyphens and spaces. The first word is lowercase and every later word starts with a capital: user_first_name becomes userFirstName.
What is the difference between camelCase and PascalCase?
camelCase starts with a lowercase letter (userName). PascalCase starts with a capital (UserName). Use the PascalCase button for class and type names.
Does it keep numbers?
Yes. Numbers stay in the name, so address_line_2 becomes addressLine2.
